California's Division of Occupational Safety and Health (commonly known as Cal/OSHA) protects workers from health and safety hazards on the job in almost every workplace in California through its research and standards, enforcement, and consultation programs. Cal/OSHA also oversees programs promoting public safety on elevators, amusement rides, and ski lifts. In addition, the division oversees programs promoting the safe use of pressure vessels (e.g., boilers and tanks). Cal/OSHA provides free safety and health assistance to employers, with the goal of preventing occupational injuries and ilnesses.A variety of services are available, such as on-site visits, partnership programs, telephone support, a high-hazard employer program, educational outreach, and educational materials. The current Chief of the Division is Juliann Sum. NOTE: "OSHA" is the Occupational Safety & Health Administration; however, "Cal/OSHA" refers to the California's state-administered program brought about by the California Occupational Safety & Health Act of 1973. Cal/OSHA is a program administered by the California Department of Industrial Relations. ==See also== *Cal/OSHA *Federal Occupational Safety and Health Administration 抄文引用元・出典: フリー百科事典『 ウィキペディア(Wikipedia)』 ■ウィキペディアで「California Occupational Safety and Health Administration」の詳細全文を読む スポンサード リンク
